Position Available: Independent Member of the Governance Committee

About the Role: The Yellow Door Governance Committee is responsible for the overarching corporate, operational, clinical and strategic governance of Yellow Door’s home care business. It has a particular focus on risk management, internal audit compliance programs, continuous improvement programs, incident management and review and client feedback. It currently consists of 2 non-executive members and 2 executive members with clinical experience. The Committee is currently seeking additional independent non-executive members to join the Committee with  a broad skill set in risk management, customer service with a preference for demonstrated experience in an aged care or disability service setting. Additional skills in HR management will also be highly regarded. Members are expected to review all Committee papers and attend scheduled quarterly meetings and out of cycle meetings as required. This is a remunerated position

Qualifications required:

  • University qualification in relevant field of expertise
  • Current NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Current Police Clearance
  • AFSA National Solvency Check

Successful candidates will also be required to be designated Key Personnel for Yellow Door Care under the NDIS Act and Aged Care Act
