Yellow Door is a private home care service, offering premium quality and highly flexible options of care. We charge for our services by the hour and aim to work on the basis of providing as little or as much care as is genuinely needed, to achieve an optimal and personalised standard of care.
After initial assessment and thoughtful planning (which we provide without charge), clients are often surprised by what can be achieved, to the exacting standard one should expect of a private service.
Hourly rates will depend on the level of complexity and expertise required. For example, care requiring the expertise of a Registered Nurse is charged at a higher rate than the services provided by a carer. However, nursing services delivered by an RN may be recoverable under private health insurances.
Your personal Care Coordinator will work with you to create a tailored quote that can include the following assistance:
- Care Coordination, Assessment & Setup – No Charge
- Active Care Support – Personal Care Assistant, Enrolled Nurse, Registered Nurse
- Day Respite Care
- Overnight Respite Care
- Our Care Coordinators will also help direct you towards establishing your eligibility for government funding assistance
